John Marking specializes in construction industry business litigation and transactions. His experience includes the representation of some of the country’s largest general contractors, as well as nationwide real estate developers. He counsels clients through the drafting and negotiation of contracts, active construction issues and project close-out. He also handles all aspects of litigation including multiple court trials to judgment and over 300+ day of arbitration hearing experience with multiple victories for general contractors in claims against owners and subcontractors.
John has also handled multiple appeals including one published opinion in the California Court of Appeal Fifth Appellate District (Alstom Power v. La Paloma Generating Co.).
